A Beautiful Rendition
Ferrari F40 tribute

As if it needed any introduction, Ferrari’s F40 was designed to celebrate the marque’s 40th anniversary. Designed entirely from scratch by Pininfarina and the last vehicle personally approved by Enzo Ferrari before his passing, the F40 was the fastest, most powerful and most expensive Ferrari when it was released, with 1,311 examples produced from 1987 to 1992. This iconic automotive hall-of-famer and its all-business fighter jet looking silhouette has been appreciated by generations of fans, including automotive designer Samir Sadikhov, who has decided to unveil a tribute of his own.

Keeping in mind the spirit of the F40, Sadikhov has created what looks like a contemporary F40 successor. It shares the same DNA with the original, yet it is modernised to align itself with Ferrari’s current design language. Sadikhov spent over a year working on the exterior and interior package, including extra time dedicated solely to the study of the monocoque structure as a design case. One thing we can say – those long hours were absolutely worth it, for such an amazing result. You can find more images of this beautiful tribute on Samir Sadikhov’s website.
