1918 Indian Twin Board-track Racer

There was huge competition in motorcycle racing between Harley-Davidson, Excelsior and Indian during the early 20th century, and this, an Indian Twin Board-track Racer, was one product of said competition; a purpose-built racing motorcycle manufactured over 100 years ago.

The Indian was at one time in a completely dissembled state, and when the current owner purchased it he only got 85% of the parts, including the frame, the motor, the seat and front rim with tyre. He reassembled the bike, trying to keep it as original as possible and replaced the missing parts including gas tank, handlebars, two pistons, front forks and rear stand with hand-built components based on the original specs. This rare item is now available for sale from Hero Motors.
